Kathmandu. Singer Anju Pant has a strong Nepal-American connection. His musical activity is intense in both countries. Anju, who has been in Kathmandu for a few months, is very busy from the recording studio to the stage.
On Tuesday evening, the audio of his new song ‘Manna Paro Manobu’ was released. At the press conference held to release the song, he was surprised by the question that he liked America more than music.
Anju says that even though she is active in Nepal, she has migrated to America, and she is upset with the questions from the media and social networks. Anju complains that he is confused by the clarification on this matter.
Stating that she keeps coming to America every year, Anju has asked her fans not to dwell there and not to think about it. Anju said that even though she saw that Nepali youth and artists wanted to go to America, it was not true that she would be found there.
What did Anju say at the press conference?
I stay in Nepal most of the time. I will come back after some time. Even when I live there, I keep soaking in the music. Even when I was there, I continued to work on two or three songs a day, just like here. It is said that he migrated to America at that time and started living there. How many clarifications should be given while saying something that is not there.
I came a long time ago and did so much work. Don’t tell me how much it hurts you to be still there. America is not bad. Artists are respected so much in America. You have given the environment to live in that kind of atmosphere. There is something special about enjoying your country, your soil, and your family.
It’s not about floating there, it’s not about staying there. Not even taking citizenship. Every now and then, my heart hurts when I keep saying that. Artists are not only jewels of the country, they are wealth. Property is going out, our parents don’t care.
How many journalists have gone to America? As many people as possible will go. When speaking the truth, everyone wants to go for a golden future, for the future of children, for the assurance of retired life. The system there, people are greedy for everything.
Not for me. I especially go for work. My brothers and friends who I know say that they do not want to live in the country, they have tried to go there. I don’t want to live in the country.
In my case, I will go and participate in the program. The organizer keeps calling, I go every year. That’s why I have to go, I have to work. But using the same word over and over again hurts. Should I come to Nepal and say that I have come?
My craze has not decreased, it is increasing. Some people start crying even when they meet in America. I cry too. There is so much love. You are my audience even in the hot sun of foreign countries. They say, sister, good morning in your song, we fall asleep in your song. I want to cry when I hear this. Much love, love, until we meet.
Anju’s daughter is gearing up for her film debut
In the press conference, singer Pant also revealed that her daughter Pritoshika is going to start a film career. For this, she said, her daughter joined Mandala Theater to learn acting.
‘Paritoshika is a child of Buzzh. Earlier she worked in music videos. He is now learning acting at Mandala Theater because he wants to play in films. Works very hard. It is ready from 5 am. He is busy with practice all day long,’ she said.
She did not reveal which film Pritoshika is going to make her debut with.
