“Pappu” who failed Public Service Commission exam 16 times became “Inspector”

“Pappu” who was born in a normal family on 2nd Baisakh, 2052 from the married life of father Jadolal Das and mother Harimati Devi, who was a farmer by profession, had to face many sorrows and hardships caused by poverty. His father Jadolal Das had a total of 5 kattha fields. Even after making money, his father opened a small paan shop in an alley near the village in Parwanipur Bazar after having trouble making ends meet. His father, who suffered many hardships in the poverty-stricken business of a small paan shop, did not waste his investment in education. have succeeded.

Police Inspector Pappu Kumar Das passed S.L.C from Shri Bhoj Bhagat Higher Secondary School Lipni Mal Bara in 2066 and started studying English subject at Hari Khaitan Multipurpose Campus located in Birgunj for 10+2 level studies. From there, he passed the 10+2 level in 2069 and completed his studies up to graduation level in English from the same campus in 2072. B.Ed. (Bachelor’s level) During his studies, he failed the Public Service Commission examination for the first time in the year 2070 in the examination for the post of armed police jawan as he did not reach the weight according to his height. In the same year, he also failed in the 3.2 km running competition while competing for the Nepali Army military post.

While he was living in poverty, he applied to the Madi Police, which was open for the Constituent Assembly elections in the same year, in order to fill the Public Service Commission application and raise the necessary expenses to participate in the examination. But at that time Madi also failed in the police examination, says Police Inspector (Inspector) Pappu Kumar Das.

In the year 2071, he also failed the written examination for the post of Senior Meter Reader of Nepal Electricity Authority, Lower Secondary Level of Teacher Service Commission and Naib Subba. In the same year, Pappu, who failed the medical examination for the post of police constable and police assistant inspector, got recommended for the first time in the year 2072 and was recommended for the Nepali Army military post. But when his name came out, Pappu, who was confident that he could easily get success in a big post, did not go even when he was recommended for a military post in the Nepali Army.

In 2073, the third year of preparation for the Public Service Commission, he was selected for the post of Police Assistant Inspector (Asai) of Nepal Police. After leaving the army and becoming an Asai, Pappu wanted to become a police officer. In the same year, he filled the form for the post of police inspector, but could not participate in the examination, says Inspector Pappu Kumar Das. With the desire to become a police officer along with duty, he worked hard for 5 years since he became an assistant police inspector and finally succeeded in becoming a police inspector (inspector) under the Nepal Police by passing all the exams in 2079.

Pappu Das, who failed 16 times in 9 years while preparing for public service examination, is now working as a police inspector in Nepal Police Special Security, Gana Ratamate Hetauda.
