Kathmandu. BMW’s new electric vehicle IX1 has entered the Nepali market. Lakshmi Premium Motors, the official seller of BMW, brought the vehicle to Nepal.
The vehicle brought by the company is a ‘Sports Activity Vehicle’ in the premium segment. It has E-Drive20 which the company claims has ‘combined power consumption’.
The company claims that this vehicle can cover a distance of 100 km at 17.2-15.4 kWh. Also, it has a 150 kW motor that delivers 204 horsepower.
Its 64.78 kWh battery can cover a distance of 430 to 475 km on a single full charge. It takes 6 and a half hours to fully charge this vehicle which supports 11 KW AC charger. A 22 KW capacity vehicle is also available for three phase line which takes full charge in 3.5 hours.
The price of this vehicle is fixed at 1 crore 49 lakh 96 thousand rupees.
