Kathmandu. New variants of corona virus ‘KP.1’ and ‘KP.2’ have been confirmed in Nepal.
When the National Public Health Laboratory conducted gene sequencing of 40 samples that have been corona positive for the past few months through random sampling method, around 42 percent of them have confirmed ‘KP.1 and KP.2’. Currently, the virus has been seen in African countries including Singapore and America.
